Arpin Family Genealogy Forum
There was a Melanise Arpin who operated a couple of boarding houses in Manchester, NH in the early 1900s. Think she was the sister of Lucie Arpin and Ambroise Arpin, my mother's grandfather. She might be buried in an unmarked grave in Calvary Cemetery in Manchester which would have the record - -might be listed as Melanie or they might be two different people. She showed up in a 1900 census and maybe 1918 and 1919 city directories in the Manchester, NH library. Have try to copy and paste the page but I have been unsuccessful in copying pictures to responses, maybe only text allowed but I did photocopy the census reports for Mom's parents and grandparents and will email it if you wish.
Note: My family moved when the Amoskeag mill layed off employes in the early 1920s.
