In my family, I have Anna Dorothea Marie Arp, born Sept 8 1883 in Meimersdorf Germany. She married Nov 6 1853 Hans Fredrich Sellmer born Mar 24 1821 Russee Germany. She died Dec 28 1887 Russee Germany. Hans died May 19 1901 Russee Germany. This info came from a book called the Town Chronicles of Russee. Russee was incorporated into Kiel. I'm not sure where Meimersdorf was, but probably nearby. I have their descendants if you like. I am in touch with a Swiss cousin on my Sellmer side who lives in Zurich and speaks English. He is in the process of making me a copy of the book. It has info on many families from that area. My grandmother's Sellmer family had a wagon factory in Russee.
