Perthshire - 1838 drowning ship "Forfarshire" MR ARNOT

In September 1838, the Dundee built paddle-steamer "FORFARSHIRE" left Hull for Dundee but enroute struck rocks on one of the Farne Islands off Northumberland. Whilst there were several survivors (see the epic story of Grace Darling - the lighthouse keeper's daughter), a large number of the passengers perished.

I have sighted a news report in "The Scotsman" dated 15th Sept 1838 (page 4) quoting the "Perth Advertiser" 13th Sept 1838 which gave the names of three casualties belonging to the Perth locality.

The name of MR ARNOT, farmer, Craigie Park, is one of these three names.

I am seeking further information:-
[a] location of Craigie Park
[b] Christian name, any birth/marriage/family particulars for this MR ARNOT.

As I have a "missing" William Arnot (aged 52 in 1838) for whom I require death/burial detail, if SKS could provide a positive identification for the MR ARNOT who perished on the "FORFARSHIRE", it would assist me to rule him in or out of my Scotland family research "brickwall".

All assistance appreciated.

Rex Arnot,
Tasmania..
