Evelyn Arnold a painter Denver, CO

We have a painting, we love, that my husband's grandfather rec. and he lived in Denver. We aren't sure when he rec. it but maybe 1950's. On the stretcher frame it has written in pencil, Evelyn Arnold. I haven't removed the frame yet to see if the front of the painting is signed and so at this point I'm thinking the name on the back means she was the painter. It is a painting of an Indian sitting on a cliff and the cliff looks southwest. Does anyone know this Evelyn Arnold?
