Hi. I'm just starting my research on the Arnett family. This is what I have so far:
Grandfather - Cornelius Patterson
Great - Alexander Patterson
Great Great - Frank Patterson / Louise Patton
Great x3 - Moses Patton / Louise Arnett
Great x4 - ? this is where I am stuck. I know I have a great great so forth grandfather named Samuel Arnett who I believe was married to Lucy. When I search Samuel Arnett, I get numerous names: Sam married to Rosa Maria; Samuel M. Arnett, Samuel G. Arnett.
I believe the one I am looking for is Samuel Arnett b1825 d1912, but other than DOB and Death, I can't find anything else out. Was his wife Lucy? Who was his children? I'm just trying to fill in the blanks. I checked out the Arnett Cemetery online and saw tombstones with familar names, so I feel like I'm on the right track...I'm just stumped. How far back have you all been able to go?
I know there's a reunion coming up in August in Huntsville, but there's no way I will be able to attend (which is too bad because I probably could get A LOT of answers). I just need some guidance.
