I am also researching the Arnett family from Magoffin Co., Ky. Would your line be connected to this line?

from Waverly News, Wednesday 17 Nov 1965 G. K. ARNETT, 78 PROMINENT PIKE RESIDENT, DIES G. K. Arnett, 78-year old retired farmer, former local bank director and prominent citizen of the Dailyville community, Rt. 2, Waverly, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Pike County Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Mr. Arnett was a member of Orient Lodge No 321, F. and AM, a former director of the Waverly State Bank, clerk of the former Pee Pee Township Board of Trustees and a former manager of the ASC government office in Waverly. Born on June 18, 1887 at Salyersville, Ky., he was a son of John B. and Frances (Dixon) Arnett. On Oct. 13, 1908 he married the former Emily Taulbee, who survives at home. Also surviving are three sons, Richmond Arnett of Rt. 2, Piketon, Orval Arnett and Lucian Arnett, both of Rt. 2, Waverly; two daughters, Mrs. Eula Oyer of Morristown, Tenn. and Mrs. Elizabeth Dixon of Rt. 2, Waverly; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Patton of Salyersville, Ky. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Arnett was a member of the Church of God at Jackson, Ky. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the A. H. Boyer Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Workman and Rev. Mason Dyke officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery here. A Masonic service was held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
