In 1900, in the 5th Civil District, Wayne County, TN (ED 10 Pg 54 Sheet 3A) a Thomas ARNETT was listed as the Superintendent of the Wayne County Poorhouse. I am trying to learn about this poor house (that seemed to have only 5 residents listed in the 1900 census).
Thomas is listed on line one, followed by members of his family. The poorhouse "inmates" begin being listed on line nine and continue through line 13. I am hoping to learn the name of this poorhouse and if any records have survived.
Hoping that someone researching Mr. Arnett has learned about the poorhouse and is able to point me in the proper direction.
