Thank you for that clarification. I too hope to attract a decendant of Nathan. I have always suspected we are related to him somehow. The DNA test from a male decendant should let us know whether we have a common male Arnett ancestor.
So far we onlly have the results of two of us in the DNA study. My DNA is a perfect match with Norman Arnett. This establishes what we have suspected: That Norm's Jacob Arnett of Tennesee is almost certainly the Jacob that was the son of Alexander Arnett, Jr. and grandson of our Alexander & Ruth Arnett of Loudoun County, VA. Very exciting stuff.
We are waiting for the results to two other Arnetts that have submitted DNA to FamilyTreeDNA.com.
