Hello, I am descended from David Arnot/Arnett christened 19 June 1689 at Kinnell in Angus, Scotland to Robert Arnot and Agnes Carr.. David Arnot was a Scottish prisoner from the Battle of Preston who was banished to Virginia. His papers gave his parish of origin as Oathlaw in Angus. I descend from James Arnett Jr.'s daughter who married Jonathan Dennis in Fayette County, Ky. and moved to Washington County, Ky.
