Dear members of Clan Arnot/t Arnet/t,
My husband and I live at Arnot Tower, in the 1870s manor house next to the ruined 1420s castle also known as Arnot Tower, near Scotlandwell in Kinross-shire, parish of Portmoak. I am a gardener, and am restoring the ten acres of gardens around the ruined castle, with a view to opening the gardens and castle as a visitor attraction (see photos on www.arnottower.co.uk). To raise the funds for the restoration, we intend to rent the gardens as a venue for weddings, renewal of vows and other events, and for this we need planning permission.
Would you be prepared to email a letter of support to our local planners? It would greatly help our cause for the planners to realise that there is a large and active Arnot family with an interest in their ancestral home!
