If you find it, then you will have the key to that family. I have corresponded with Ron Paschall, and he is from these folks, I think? So he says, he does not know who the father of this Samuel was, except that there was a Samuel Arnet in early South Carolina records with a James Arnet. There was work done, "Foot Prints of Yester Year" had an article on these folks.

Arnett of Wilkes Co, Ga. by Mary Turpin McPherson.

William Arnett - Plat Book D, pg291 - 189 Acres 3/5/1821. His neighbor was William Arnett, Samuel Arnett, Sheppard, William Leverett and ? Leverett's land.

This shows two Williams.

Samuel Arnett had indenture of 300 acres on the Little River in Columbia County.

There was a descendant of Seaborn... Mary Hackney. Dr. Seaborn Arnett's grandfather was Dr. Samuel Arnett, Wilkes County.
...says... most likely, Seaborn burried Marshall Cemetery near Lake Cadd. (Marshall Museum is mentioned.)

There are plenty of Land entries, but not much on anything before Wilkes County that I might know about. Except that there was a William Arnett - John Quearns Arnet's father.
John Q. Arnett was born Georgia, and went to Fairfield Co, SC... that would be with his father William Arnett, so it would follow they had ties there.

What do you think? Do you have any kind of records to help? email me..
