My ancestors are mostly Swedes, with one Danish grandfather. I don't have any experience researching in Norwegian records and I'm not familiar with them.

Try posting this query on the Norway forum. Type Norway into the "Jump to Forum" space at the top right of this page. (There is also a very active Sweden forum.)
