MATTHEW ARMSTRONG b. 1720 of Augusta VA-did he marry Mary (Lily) Beatty?

Need help figuring out who Matthew Armstrong married. Is she Mary (Lily) Beatty or are they 2 different wives. Is Mary Beattys father John Beatty. Also if wife is Mary was her maiden name Brink?

MATTHEW 1 ARMSTRONG b. abt 1720 in of Augusta Co. VA d. 1781 Lincoln Co. N.C. m. MARY (LILY) BEATTY b. Augusta Co. VA.--of Augusta Co. VA 1749-1765 & Mecklenburg (later Lincoln) Co. N.C. DON'T KNOW IF MARY & LILY ARE THE SAME PERSON?. Lily is mentioned in one of his deeds in 1762& also in Matthew Armstrong’s Will in 1779-Lily could be her nickname but there is a big age difference with the kids, so that Lily and Mary could both be his wives:
THERE WERE MORE THAN ONE MARY BEATTY & MORE THAN ONE JOHN               BEATTY

Deborah says Mary Beatty's father is John Beatty and JOHN BEATTY'S CHILDREN were:MARY BEATTY, Thomas Beatty & Abel Beatty. Deborah's source was Colonial Granville Co. & Its People .

Mary (Lily) BEATTY’S parents were John BEATTY Jr. & Mary BRINK..of Augusta Co.        VA 1749-1765 & Mecklenburg (later Lincoln) Co. N.C. –someone else gave information about the parents. Don't know if this is right?
