I have a John Michael Armstrong, b. Dec 10 1825 in Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England. This is all I know. He marries in White County, IL in 1853, and again in 1855 Richland Co. IL. He just appears in the 1860 census of Wayne County, Illinois at age 32 with a wife Martha H. Carbaugh Armstrong and two children. Cannot find him in 1850, so unsure of immigration. Name too common. Can someone please help? Thanks so much.
