Hi Mitchell,
Sorry, I just now found your Aug. response to my post.
I'm not really doing Armstrong research--don't remember how I acquired
the copies of these wills. Anyway, James Armstrong will was dated 1761;
Thomas Armstrong will dated 1775.

Children mentioned in James' will: James Armstrong, son to my William
Armstrong, George Rutledge son to Thomas Rutledge, Elizabeth Rutledge,
Thomas Rutledge (wife Jean or Jane) the birth of their first child recorded
in 1744.

Thomas Armstrong, Augusta Co: wife Ann Armstrong, son William Armstrong,
daughter Sarah Rutledge, son Abel Armstrong, son and daughter Robert and
Jane (unreadable) son and daughter Edward and Sarah Rutledge, son and
daughter Harvey and Rosanna Murrey. Son William and wife Ann executors.
Signed Thomas (his mark) Armstrong.
