Hello Sharon;

As for West Indies background I don't know
but research leads me to infer Trinidad
but currently no concrete data at this point

Rev. William Armour was the pastor at
Oak Grove Baptist Church
Mount Pleasant Baptist Church
Antioch Baptist Church
so I would have to say his religion was
Baptist.

My name is Andrea L. Armour b. Nov, 1962
yes Hughes is my married name (approx. 25+yrs

Now, my grandmother was fair skinned, she had long
and beautiful hair and her mother was considered
mulatto.

I think all the children had the same birth parents
but there is a possibility otherwise. My grandmother
seemed to had children every other year starting
1932 and ending 1950 (11) children one still born.
and counting). I never lived in New York
was b. in NJ and moved to California in 1983

As for Nationality, my Great Grandfather Rev. William Armour WWII draft card has Negro. However, my grandmother
is definitely mixed I used to part my Grandmother hair and put two braids in her hair the length of her braids
would stop at her stomach
