Hi:

I am researching the parents and family of Janet Armour, christened 4 Nov 1676 in Tradigal, Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland. Her parents are Alexander Armour and Margaret Thomson. She had known siblings: James about 1693 and Andrew 7 Jul 1695. Janet married William Colvin/Colville/Colvil on 14 Mar 1695 in Campbeltown. They had 4 known children: Robert, William, Jr., James and Janet in Campbeltown.

I found another James Armour, his wife Florence Stewart who are listed on the gravestone of their children, Agnes, Alexander and Margaret at Kilkerran Cemetery in Campbeltown. I am guessing that this James could be a sibling of my Alexander.
