I am trying to find information about my maternal g-grandmother Jennie Armour. I have just found a formal family picture with many people identified as Armours. I am hoping that someone will draw a connection to one of these people that will help me unravel my mystery.
The photograph was taken circa 1920, most likely in Toronto. The names (as they are written on the back of the photo) are: Dan Armour, Will Armour, Rus Armour,Frank Armour, Jim Armour, Wellie (who may be the husband of Daisy Armour), Henry Patchett (my g-grandfather), and Lew. Also, I interpret that Dan had a wife Margaret and they had a son Wes, that Rus had a wife Ida, that Frank had a wife Sarah, and perhaps Lew had a wife Rita.
Jennie Armour, wife of Henry Patchett, died in 1889, explaining her not being in the picture. However, two of her daughters, Mabel (Grainger) and Christina (Chater) are.
The younger generation in the picture includes Wes., Gertrude Armour, Ruth Armour and Roy Chater.
If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it.
