You sent me an e-mail a while back about Armitage in Lindley, Yorkshire. I managed to lose your e-mail address to reply. Glad I found you here.

It doesn't appear that we have a connection, but I know nothing of David Armitage's forebears, so there may be a relationship between the two families.

Have you tried posting to the WRY rootsweb maillist? Those folks are extraordinarily helpful.
