Hi Clara, I wonder if we have a connection here. My great grandfather, Nicolas Armijo was from a small area of Mora County called Abuelo. That's not where I see the connection though. You see, on my grandmother (Mary Genevieve Leyba-Lucero) had a sister named Justa Leyba Armijo who married at Diego Armijo Sr. This Diego was born 11/2/1896 & died 10/7/1980. I believe they lived in the Albuquerque area. Is this Diego Armijo Sr. possibly the brother of your grandfather, Alejandro??? Hmmm...I wonder...
