I'm looking for any information on the family of a George Armentrout who later became George Armintrout (with an "i")
because of a mistake in military records. He was married (I don't remember her name) and had a son named Alvin George Armintrout (I also do not know the names of other children). I do not know where George came from although Alvin ended up later living in Fayette county Ohio. It might have been southern OH, VA, WVA, PENN, KY area. There is also a slight possibility that his full name was george homer armentrout.
Sorry I don't have a lot of information.
