My grandfather was Henry Ishmal Armentrout from Kenton OH. Henry's wife was Daisy Mea (Shipp). Henry and Daisy had 5 children, three boys Byron "Barney" Albert, Robert "Bob" Clayton and Marion "Jigs" Vaugn and two girls, Eleanor "Sally" Maxine and Mary Lavonne. Mary and Marion were twins.
Henry's father was Albert Armintrout (yes, with an i) his wife was Eunice. Henry is buried in Kenton, OH and Albert and his (Albert's) father (first name unknown to me at this time)are both buried in Byhalia,OH. My father Robert Clayton Armentrout (b.1923) is still living in Marysville OH. He has two sons Robin Eric (me) and Roger Dale.
Henry had seven brothers and two sisters, Earl, Jack and Kenneth Armintrout (with an i) lived in Michigan and boys Blain, Wayne, Sherman, and Edward and girls Merle and EttaMae lived in Kenton, Ohio and spelled Armentrout with an e. I don't know how the e came about.
That's all I know about our line. Hope this helps someone out there.
