Sarkis Safarian and Arakalian

Iam looking for information concerning my great grandfather Sarkis Safarian who was an archbishop in Armavir, Russia in the early part of this (20th) century. He was shot by the Bolshevics after the revolution.

Iam also searching for information concerning my Grandfather's family. His name was Arakel Arakalian and he was born in Yerevan at the start of this century. He moved to Armavir then to Tehran. He was a student at Yerevan University and was very good friends with Anastas Mikoyan who became the only commissar to survive Stalin's reign. Arakel was sent to a gulag for being associated with the Dashnaks - Mikoyan arranged for him to be freed and escape Russia with his family after coming across him by chance when inspecting the Gulag. Does anyone remember Arakel, were they imprisoned with him? I would love to know more.
