My grandfather was around 7 when he left Marash (Cilicia). He was Zeitountsi, his name was Sarkis Nokhoudian.The only information I have is that he had a father and an older brother when they left Marash (probably around 1915?). He lived in Lebanon, and became a French Legions Etrangers officer! Later he has found a sister, I guess in Damascus, who was married to a muslim and had children. But he did not tell us where were they, and who were they!
My grandmother was Ohanian, she was from Sis (Cilicia)! Around the same time (as my grandfather) she was deported to Lebanon. Her name was Ashkhen! She had an older brother whose name was Garabed, and who later left to France. He died young, but he was married (in France) and had children. I am looking for them.
I want to trace back my family tree. Please if you have any information, I would be eternally grateful!
