I was so surprised to learn that your grandfathers name is Hrant Hampartzoumian. My grandfather had a brother, Hrant, exactly the same name. We were told, or assumed he was killed during the massacre. Another fact other than the city of Erzerum, the age of your grandfather matches approx. age of Hrant my grandfathers brother. Most important, do you know if Hrant had any brothers? Do you have any names? or the name of Hrant's father. If there is a connection, that would make you my 2nd cousin. I look forward to hearing from you. I have already mentioned this to my father so I could get some more information...he is very excited!
