Researching family of Leon CAFESJIAN, b. 4 May 1894, Sepasdia (Sivas), Western Armenia, son of Kalousd and Mary (AYVADIAN) CAFESJIAN; WWI US Army vet; married in New York City Nora TASHJIAN, b. 1 Mar 1891, Constantinople (Istanbul, Bolis), Turkey, dau of Michael and Theresa (___) TASHJIAN. Nora had been twice widowed prior to marrying Leon. The couple resided in Brooklyn, New York, probably 1920s-1960s. Leon d. in NYC June 1963. Nora d. probably in CA Nov 1977. Collaterals: Mary AYVADIAN's brother was Vartan AYVADIAN. Nora TASHJIAN's brother was Leon TASHJIAN, b. 24 Sep 1893, resided NYC and Monmouth NJ, d. prob. in NJ, August 1967. All leads appreciated.
