Der Hovanessian -- the prefix Der implies that someone was a priest at one point and the Der (Der Hayr, our father) never was dropped.
Hovanessian is a VERY common surname.
Johnian seems to be a form of Hovespian? I'm not sure though.
Boghosian is also very common.
