Need your help!
Looking for people with surname Khananushyan or Khan-Anushyan.
It's my mother's surname. I know only 3 people with that surname- my mother, my aunt and my grandfather. Both my Mom and my aunt have non-armenian names (German and Egiptian)
The surname was written with dash before 1919. According to the family history our ancestors were 2 armenian brothers who lived in Persia and India and were given title of Khan for helping establish cane sugar business in India(???)
I'm looking for people with this surname because:
-we're definitely related,
-I hope to piece together our family history and trace it back to our armenian (or may be non-Armenian?)ancestors who lived in Persia and Iran and according to my grandfather were very respected and powerful people.
