My paternal grandmother was born Marie Berberian in Kharpet (Harpoot) in 1887 and came to the U.S. in 1907, living for the rest of her life in Worcester, Mass. Her father was Alexan Berberian and she had a sister Eurgenie and a brother Alphonse (the family lived a European lifestyle, hence the French names). To our knowledge the remainder of the family perished in the massacres of 1915. If you have reason to believe that we are related, feel free to contact me at my E-Mail adress.
