I am starting research on my father's family and do not have much information to go on. My father was Jack Richard Andonian born in Akron, Oh, grandfather was Khoran Hagop Andonian born 10-17-1895 in Sivas,Turkey?,Armenia? He came to the US in 1915. His parents were Hagop and Mary Andonian. According to family my grandfather's family changed their name from Hashmanian(?)to Andonian. No one seems to know why or when they did this. As far as I know my grandfather had a brother, Sarkis who lived in Cleveland,OH. His wife's name was Antoinette. If anyone has information to share I would appreciate hearing from you.
