My father was one of the Georgetown Boys and arrived in Georgetown, Ontario on July 1, 1923. There was a total of 110 orphans all brought over to a new life in Canada.

The idea was to give them a basic education and then place them on local farms.

I have a book called The Georgetown Boys that has all the names, places of birth, and other information.
