The name Armond
Posted by: Kris Ormond (ID *****9147) Date: April 06, 2003 at 21:15:13
  of 88

Tradition has it that my family name, Ormond, came from Flanders and that it has a relationship to France.

Does anyone know if Ormond and Armond are related names?

My tradition states that the Ormond's were Flemish Marchers brought in to settle the border between England and Wales by William Duke of Normandy and King of England in the 11th century.

Any help would be appreciated.
