Angela, I have William Ariss (1836) married to Margaret (1st wife) and Susannah, 2nd wife. We also show William (1836) as being the sone of James (10-20-1799) who is the brother of Benjamin (1801). In looking this over, perhaps we are speaking of different generations. Our tree starts out with John Ariss, wife Ann Lockton of Aston le Walls, North Hamptonshire England. They had two sons James (10-20-1799) and Benjamin (1801.) Our tree show James married Mary Bachelder (1st) and Rachel Watlein(2nd.) We do not have anything on Benjamin with the exception of Margorie Dow and Betty Kanola being his descendants. We also show James with eight children,Sarah (1824),John (1826),Mary (1831 Minah, Thomas (1834), William (1836) James (1838) and George born in 1840. This info came from a family bible belonging to my husbands cousin. It did not show anything on Benjamin's line because our line came from George born in 1840. This really becomes confusing, but I believe we are speaking of the same family branch. Somehow, maybe we can get Kelly's info and yours and mine all together and figure it all out. If you would like a copy of what I have I will be glad to send it to you. Joanne Ariss
