I note you are interested in my ARIS/S database.
I have been adding to it whenever I have the chance.
I have now completed the GRO Index from 1837 to 1915 Births
1837 to 1900 Deaths (I have quite a few years after 1900 completed but not in any particular order)
1837 to 1920 Marriages.
I have been in touch with your cousin? John and sent a few entries from Leigh to him.
However, I have added more since then.
I think you are probably connected to Brain Ariss' family who came from the Banbury area originally.
There is anotherresearcher Christy from USA? who is also connected to this line.
