Sheila hi, I have just a very few Argo,s and they are collateral. Williams parents may have been John Alden Argo b. 1762 in Sussex Co., Delaware. d. before 1830. in Green co., Pa May have m. a Naomi smith maybe. Or some speculation that Naomi was married to William L. Burge and they took William in as Orphan and were told to keep the Argo name. Naomi b. April 18,1804 in Pa d. Jan 14, 1894. Buried in Gammill Cemetery, Hamilton Twp,. Decatur Co., IA
Not documented by me so play this by ear, just trying to help a little.
