The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, July 19, 1906

Wednesday evening, July 11, 1906, at 8 o'clock the wedding of MISS MAY
JOSEPHINE YOUNG to MR. DAVID GLENN ARGO was solemnized at the home of the
bride's parents, MR. and MRS. ADAM YOUNG, Rev. Dodds, of the United
Presbyterian Church, performing the ceremony in the presence of the
relatives and most intimate friends. MR. MARK was best man and MISS
ELIZABETH IRVIN, bride's maid. The bride was most beautifully gowned in
white embroidered ponga silk, and carried a bouquet of white roses and
carnations, her favorite flowers.

After the ceremony an elegant supper was served. The house was elaborately
decorated in white and green and presented a very fine appearance. Many
fine and useful presents were given the bride, betoking the friendship and
esteem felt for her by friends and relatives.

Thursday morning at 9:15, MR. and MRS. ARGO left for their home in Chariton,
Iowa, where the groom has in waiting a pleasant and comfortable home.

-- SUPERIOR, NEB. EXPRESS.

*The young couple will go to housekeeping in their cottage on Court Avenue.
