believe that the Charles Argo listed is my grandfather. His full name was Charles Marion Argo, born November 6, 1882. I know that his Mother's maiden name was Walker and her first name was Mary(May have been Mary Alice), and his father was W. G. Argo and they were living in Alabama. I also recall that he had a brother Thomas.

I am just getting started on this search and wonder what information you have. Do you know if Wiley Walker moved to Oklahoma at some point in his life? I was young when my grandfather died and I know very little about his family and am interested in learning everything that I can. My uncle who is now in his late 80's told me that his father, W. G., left Alabama (it almost sounded to me as if he had basically deserted his family there) and went to Oklahoma to live. He had two sons in Oklahoma, one of whom was named Bill. He was supposed to have been a doctor providing medical care to some of the Indians in Oklahoma.

I know that my grandfather's ancestors had at some point been in the Carolinas, but I don't know how far back? What do you know about all of this?
