Amanda,
Donald Henry Argo, your father, was born on 11/27/51 and passed away on 11/12/79 in Denver. His parents were Millard Herman (Mel) and Eunice Kathryn Henry of Kimball, Nebraska.
Millard Herman, your grandfather, was born 9/9/1917 in Kenesaw, Nebraska. On 2/24/1939 he married Eunice Kathryn Henry, and they lived in Kimball, Nebraska.
Millard was the son of Alfred Gardner Argo, who was born on 10/4/1881 in Hopkins, Missouri and passed away 9/14/1945 in Shelton, Nebraska. On 3/19/1903 Alfred married Maude Liesinger, born 5/24/1886.Alfred was a farmer and carpenter.
Alfred was the son of Levi Remington Argo, who was born 3/20/1847 in Illinois, and died in 1925 in Darlington, Missouri.Levi married Elizabeth McPherson, born 1850 and died in 1887.In 1870 they lived in Astoria Township, Fulton County, Illinois.Levi was a farmer. In later years they lived near Farifax, Missouri and in 1880 they lived in Phillips County, Kansas.
Levi Argo was the son of Jeremiah Argo, who was born 10/27/1820 and died 3/10/1896 in Browning, Illinois.Jeremiah was married to Theresa Senter.
Jeremiah was the son of William Argo, who was born 6/9/1798 in Pennsylvania, and died 3/20/1868.William was married on 6/18/1818 to Jane Marshall, and they lived in 1820 and 1830 in Jefferson County, Ohio, and in 1850 in Fulton County, Illinois.
I can go further - all the way back to 1680.My father's name was Jack Argo Lang, his mother's name was Lucille Argo.We have a comprehensive Argo family tree that goes back three centuries, and the family tree branches out for many levels. It was easy to find your father. If you'd like more information no problem, just mail me at [email protected] luck.
