I have information on James David Argo, called "Big Dave" who married a woman he called Polly. He was born circa 1812-1815, and was a Baptist minisiter for 15 years in Abbeville area of S.C. Moved to Royston, GA and farmed there until untimely demise in abt. 1857. Had 3 sons, William David, James, and Addison. He was my great great grandfather. My father was James Addison Argo, Jr., son of J.A. Argo and Alice Crider Argo. Have more information dating all the way back to before Revolutionary War in England.
