I am trying to locate relatives in Argentina. My great grandmother, Carmela Zagami emigrated to Argentina from Fiumefreddo Sicily around 1913. She was aged 21 when she arrived in Argentina. She remarried there to an Italian immigrant whose surname was possibly Cioffi? Mr Cioffi was from Sant'Alfio, Sicily. He may have been a cattle farmer. I think they lived in or near Buenos Aires. There has also been mention of them living in Avellaneda? She had 2 or 3 more children born in Argentina.One daughter was named Elena.
I would like to make contact with the descendants of Carmela to find out about her life and theirs. Thanks, Liliana
