Hello,
I am from Holland. My family is from Usquert, Provine of Groningen -Netherlands. In 1866 Klaas Arends (born 09-02-1838 in Usquert) moved to America. The name of Bernardus is also known in our Family. The father of Klaas was Bernardus Willems Arends. It was/is normal that a grandchild got the name of his grandfather. Also the name Nicolaas is known in our familie. PLease tell me to what town this family moved. I have more names, because, asfar I know, are all moved to the States.
