I am researching my family's history. My grandmother was Wygertje Arends born June 23rd, 1909 and passed on July 23rd, 1990. She was born in Holland and came to Canada in 1950 via the Volendam. Any information on the family name -- it's historical meaning and where it developed from or my grandmothers possible extended family members would be greatly appreciated.
