I'm the great grand heir of Pedro Arellano, one of the known dwellers in Tarlac during the early days.
Based from my Mama's story their father's ancestors were really from Bulacan but were forced to move North (Philippines) running away from Spaniards. I remember my Mama even mentioned about their family hiding undergound for almost a week before they were able to move out on the ground and scape from those looking for them.
At any rate, here are sone details about my great grand father Pedro Arellano. (Father & mother from Bulacan, Philippines but unfortunately I can't recall their names.)
Pedro Arellano married to Petronila Agabao
- both of them died two months after my birth in
1980. Lolo Pedro first and after one month my lola
followed.
- they had two offsrpings my Mama Rosalia and lolo
Aguido
--> My Mama Rosalia is an old maid
(I'm her grand daughter from her brother's son.
But since she did not marry and I am the first girl
of the clan, she took care of me and raised me from
my 10th day 'til she died.)
She died died Nov. 5, 1999 at the age of 89.
--> My lolo Aguido is still alive and he's based in
Tarlac.
- Aguido married Juanita Antonio.
- they had six boys Pio (my biological father),
Miguel, Larry, Jose, Fidel (died 1987) and Eugene.
I used to have a complete list of our relatives as my Mama Rosalia always have "pabasa" (prayer offerings) for their relatives who already past away.
I also remember my Mama saying that the the 1st chief justice of the supreme court (Phils.)is our distant relative. She also mentioned about a book (which I never actually saw) containing the family tree of the Arellano clan here in the Philippines, and that her father's name (Pedro Arellano)was their and that of Cayetano Arellano.
