While researching the family tree I came across Josefa Arellano of Rio Arriba in the 1860 Census for the Precinct of Guadalupita in the county of Mora, New Mexico Territory. She is listed as the wife of Juan Trujillo with the children listed as Jose Rafael Trujillo, Jose Miguel Trujillo, Marcelino Trujillo and I presume her brother Jose de Gracia Arellano. Their older daughter, Maria Ventura Trujillo, born 1842 in Mora, was my maternal great-greatgrandmother. Maria Ventura married Jose Miguel Tafoya of Taos in 1860. Jose Miguel I believe was the son of Juan Miguel Tafoya of Taos and Luz Fresquis of Rio Arriba. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
