I called Andrepont Printing in Opelousas, LA this morning. I was told the Ardoin book is still available. Credit Card orders are accepted. Cost of the book is $30 plus tax plus S&H. The number to call: 1-337-942-6385
The Ardoin book was written by Carola Ann Lillie Andrepont, Genealogy Research by Aimee Ardoin Guillory, Edited by Kathleen Eastin Soileau, Published by Andrepont Printing, Inc. - Opelousas, Louisiana c1990 - Carola L. Andrepont.
Chapter I includes biographical and historical information on the Ardoin family that all Ardoin researchers will appreciate.
The remainder of the book focuses on the Descendants of Simeon Ardoin and includes lots of family pictures of not only Ardoins but members of allied families as well.
I am not an Ardoin descendant, but I have many Ardoin cousins and I know/knew many of the people who appear in the book.
