Dear Glenda,

Ms. Aimee Guillory was/is our neighbor in Ville Platte, Evangeline Parish, LA. My brother lives in (and owns)our parents' home just a couple of blocks from Ms. Aimme's house.

On one of my semi-annual visits to Ville Platte, I had a long visit with Ms. Aimee at which time I bought her last book. I got lucky!

The focus of Ms. Aimee's book was The Descendamts of Simeon Ardoin, however, she devoted one page to the Family of Francois Ardoin & Laurine Quebedeau.

I have followed the Descendants of Francois Ardoin, Sr. and Laurina (aka Honorine) Quebedeau. I have listed 14 children for this family.

I have your ancestor, Ovide Ardoin (Achille, David, Francois, Etienne, Denis, Pierre, Elizee (Hardouin) b. 31 Aug 1862 in St. Landry Parish, bt. Sacred Heart Catholic Church and died 1926 in TX - died of cancer. He married Marie Louise Fuselier 17 Jul 1888 in Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Chataignier, LA, d/o Ambroise Fuselier and Christine McGee. She was born 4 Jun 1872 in St. Landry Parish, bt. Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Chataignier, LA.
I have listed 7 children for Ovide and Marie Louise. Before I sell my research to anyone, I make sure they are connected to their families so they will not be disappointed. I do not ask for personal information, and I do not enter personal information on people who are still living unless asked to do so.

Using the Family Tree Maker Program 2005 I can publish my research in book format on 8½ x 11" (loose) pages, with a title page, table of contents page, Register report, and an index.

"Descendants of Elizee (Hardouin) Ardoin", has 222 pages and includes a 42-page, 2-column index and sells for $50 + $5 for priority mail. I should be able to mail your book within 10-days after I receive your paid order. I do accept checks.

I am a French-speaking native of Ville Platte, and I have lived in Birmingham since my marriage to Ed Wells in 1954. When I retired 15-years ago, I was an editorial assistant in the Office of the Director of Medical Center Publications (UAB Health Affairs). I enjoy doing genealogy research. I am never lonely and I am never bored. It's like reading a good book!

Best regards,
