Social Security Death Index published by Ancestry.com - thru September 2003

Dear Fellow Researchers,

Some years ago, I purchased from Family Tree Maker, the Social Security Death Index, 2CDs, beginning with the year 1937 and ending with the year 1995. This one was in alpha order. Very easy to use.

I just received a new Social Security Death Index published by Ancestry.com, 12 CDs, Birth Years 1785 thru September 2003. This one is in order by birth date. Not as easy to use, but nice none-the-less.

Actually the first SSDI I bought had birth years going back to the same birth year (1875), but Social Security went into effect in 1937.

Serious researchers may want to purchase this CD.

Best regards,
rose@cajunclearinghouse.com
