Thank you. Your family list is very interesting. The Nails were from the Beech Island area as were the Ardises. Could Arthur Simpkins/Simkins possibly be the son of Eldred Simkins and grandson of Arthur Simkins? This Arthur Simkins (1819-1863) married two times, first to Mary Bonham, daughter of John W. Bonham, and second to a Mary "Pratt," daughter of Thomas Pratt, according to other sources. Are you aware of another Arthur Simpkins, perhaps someone born earlier? Was Frank Butler Frank Moore Butler (1793-1827), son of Gen. William Butler? He is said to have married twice but only his wife Louisa Adeline Ford is known to me. John Milledge Galphin (1794-1857) was a grandson of the famous Indian trader from Silver Bluff, George Galphin. He was named for his uncle-in-law and guardian, John Milledge, Governor of Georgia, who lived just across the river at Augusta. Do you know who Anna Beggs and Elizabeth Hammons were? I now believe John B. Lipscomb married Rosa Ardis and later Henrietta Ardis in Madison Co., FL. Do you have any information relative to Rosa and Henrietta? Thank you again.
