Good to hear from you! Yes, there are Ardis origins in Northern Ireland. My father (Dr. James Amor Ardis) was born near Belfast and I am collecting some information on the family name. We have a crest that I have converted to digital form too, on those long autumn evenings. I gues I really should have been doing something more productive but it became quite absorbing.
