Linda,
I'm pleased to find some other Ardis's in the UK, we are few and far between. I would be pleased to share what information I have with you and our friends (relatives?) who have posted replies and questions.
My father (Dr. James Amor ARDIS) was from Northern Ireland and I have some information about his relatives. I even have a Coat of Arms that is quite impressive. I have some paperwork that I would be pleased to scan/copy and send to anyone interested. Please e-mail me and I will do what I can to help.

Perhaps we should have an Ardis reunion somewhere. Can anyone make it to the Cotswolds?
